I have been working on this since end of last year. The sketches were rather demaning, although they don't look like it, because I had to keep some things in mind, that are not visible from the outside. Anyhow. This is a Bloodhound character for my friend somewolf and no, her name's not Cutie Pie, but she has no name yet. We have plans for her, so expect to stumble over her again in the future. :) Felt good to do some Bloodhound art again. There's far too little comming from my direction nowadays. ;__;

Man, I sure do hope the colours are looking alright now. I am a bit worried after I realized that there is a rather big difference in the way my laptop and my computer display stuff. o.o Anyhow. This is Alyska, a little wolfess I adopted from MeanCheen over on DA, who had to give a whole bunch of her wolf characters away. I figured, besides the fact that I think her markings/ colours are pretty, that she might be good for anatomical and structure practise. ;D Just a little thing, wanted to try out coloured paper again. <3

Smilodon Fatalis is a name for felines, that equals Max Power for humans. XD Another small piece for AC, hence the lack of details, I guess. It hurts my hand to work on such a scale, when I try to add the same detail to it as to my larger work. It's been ages since I last drew a sabretooth tiger... 10 years or so. They are such spiffy creatures though. :D Inspired by the art of the incredible Balaa.

ACEO - Sean Connery as Captain Marko Ramius by Bloodhound Omega

Once a year I seem to manage creating a piece of human related art I am actually proud of... and for this year I think this is it. O_o This card is for Nelena as a thank you... She wanted a portrait of Sean Connery as the Russian submarine Captain Ramius from "Hunt for Red October", a movie I love, too. For this portrait I used a new strategy (new as in, I didn't apply it before): I used a grid on the reference photos and transferred it on the card. This kind of procedure is not new, but I never used it. It's timeconsuming and tiresome as hell... but I think it was worth the while... In that sense... thanks, Nel, for teaching me to enjoy singing and dancing again, for sharing the adoration for the same hot stuff with me, for helping me out whenever I need it and... all the rest. <3

ACEO - Golden Tabby Tiger by Bloodhound Omega

y part of an ACEO trade with somebody. Wanted to draw a Golden Tabby Tiger since a while now and this offered me a chance to do so. I thought it would give the piece a nice touch if I didn't simply draw a realistic piece of a tiger, but added something ... uh... abstract to it. So I added the tribals and swirlies and ornaments. Gosh... too tired to type meaningful comments today. >_<

ACEO - Green like the hope... by Bloodhound Omega

My part of an ACEO-trade with the amazing AlectorFencer. She asked me to draw her plant spirit and I willingly agreed. :D I love the atmosphere she creates with so many of her pieces containing that character. They send chills right down your spine. I attempted humbly to create such an effect myself and while there are several things I sadly didn't manage to create as I envisioned them to, I am rather satisfied with the result.
